Funky Monkey Hostel, Goa- Review. One of the best experiences in Goa.

If you’re on a budget travel to goa and looking for a hostel in your budget where you can have a great experience and have a chilled out time with backpackers and travellers from all over the world, then Funky Monkey Hostel Goa, promises to make your time in Goa as amazing as possible and they take having fun in life seriously.

Ambience & Location:

Funky Monkey Hostel Goa, is a  name added up in the number of hostels in Goa that provide great experiences. The hostel has inaugurated in December 2015. It’s located 437 yards from the flea market and is at a distance of five minutes walk from the very famous south Anjuna beach. The hostel is located just behind Curlies, Anjuna. The ambience in the hostel is really good and pretty, below is the image of the living area and they’ve some nice books to read if you’d like or you can just spend time here chit chatting with fellow travellers.Rooms and service:

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I totally had a great time talking to the management/owner there, DK was very friendly and greeted us(me and simi) as we checked in and had a nice conversation and guided us to our dorm, and Leo was very helpful and friendly, they treat you like a friend and make sure you are comfortable and having a great time.

You are also provided a complimentary breakfast along with the stay here.(what a great deal)

There is one private room and 6 dormitories including 4 mixed dorms and two female Dorms and all of the rooms come with secure storage lockers, fans, and bed linen.

The total capacity 32 approximately. You can rent scooters for yourself. The place has movie nights and also club night that is on Friday and if you are staying there then you are gonna have fun time.

The hostel accommodates free WiFi, big garden area and hammocks.The hostel nights never get dull with them regularly hosting open air movie nights, parties, and events. Moped, taxi’s, train and flight booking services are available at request.

Funky Monkey Hostel will satisfy you more than your expectation. Your experiences are going to be memorable and be ready to add new friends and experiences.

Value for money:

For Dormitories, the charges fluctuate as per the booking sites, but it is approx Rs 450 and Rs 1500 for private room. The money is Totally worth the stay.

Happiness meter:

Overall rating would very high, 9/10. A comfortable and more than satisfactory experience. Definitely going to go back here 🙂
