Things to do in Phuket- Unique and amazing things you might have never heard of!

Phuket is the largest island in my home country, Thailand. The whole island is also a stand-alone province. Each year, millions of tourists come here to visit the beaches and bars. I can easily say you will see more tourists than local people in town! wondering what things to do in Phuket?

Phuket is famous for Patong Beach, Kata Beach and Phuket FantaSea Show, which should be a “must” on your list. But this article will focus on the places that do not usually pop up in your mind when you think of Phuket.

Things to do in Phuket

Old Phuket Town

You will see old but stylish buildings where people still live in. At night, the spotlight will be turned on and switched between colours to light up the whole row of buildings.

K-Bank, Old Phuket Town Branch

You do not have to look anywhere further. A big white beautiful building is very standing out in the Old Town area. As a regular operating bank, this is very impressive thing to do in Phuket. You will also have a chance to stumble upon the soon-to-be grooms and brides who come to take their pictures here occasionally.

Boonrat Dim Sum

Things to do in Phuket are incomplete without the most famous Dim Sum restaurant in town. They open at 6 to 10 in the morning, but if you do not arrive soon enough, you may have to wait in line for an hour to get in.

Surin Beach

Why go to Patong Beach or Kata Beach when you can go somewhere less crowded and equally beautiful? Surin Beach is peaceful, clean and has plenty of space for you to take a sunbath. However, do not get on the mats or umbrellas unless you are willing to pay the fee. It is best if you bring your own things.

Phuket Wake Park

If you love the extreme sport, this place is for you. You can enjoy wakeboarding the whole day or take a lesson (with price, of course). If you are not into losing money, the place welcomes guests to enjoy walking around or cheering on the wakeboarders without any charge.

Rawai Seafood Market

what to do in Phuket? In Rawai seafood market, Not only you can buy fresh seafood here, the restaurants are right on your back. It is enjoyable to choose the fish, crabs or shrimps and ask them to cook for you right away. One of the must things to do in Phuket.

Fin Hostel

I would like to specially mention this hostel. The price per night is as low as 20 US dollars, but the room and the bathroom are worth so much more. you can read the full review of Fin Hostel here. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. You can also ask them about anything and book a day-trip to other islands nearby.

As you can see, famous places are important, but little unknown places can also change your day or make it more enjoyable.
