Burntzilla is a trendy little shop with classic comfort food presented in a modern, urban storefront in Orange County, California. It is a union between two ingenious food trucks in the OC- the Burnt Truck and Dogzilla. You can find sliders, tots, and other delicious creations at Burntzilla. It is a refreshing alternative when you’re tired of traditional burgers, hotdogs and fries.
Address: 14413 Culver Drive, Irvine, California
Opening hours: Monday – Sunday 11am to 9pm
All the food is made from scratch! Their menu is simple: 6 types of sliders and 5 types of “zillas” (mini hot dogs), as well as soup, sides and desserts. The sliders and hot dogs are served on miniature Hawaiian rolls. If you ever had a King’s Hawaiian roll, then you can picture the sliders and mini hot dogs at Burntzilla, probably about 2/3 the size of a normal burger or dog. Their French fries and Tater tots are come both “naked” or “loaded” with a variety of themed toppings (Mexican, Fried Chicken, Chili, etc.)
Service was very friendly, and the staff was very helpful! Overall it was a very friendly environment.
Both sliders and hot dogs are all $3 per. Considering their size, some might find it to be a bit expensive. But if you are a hot dog or sausage lover, give it a shot and you may find it is all worth the price.
The food is very unique, and comes in respectable portions. I recommend going there with a few people, so you can order a bunch of small things and share them among each other.
A great place for a quick small bite. With overall tasty food, and fast/friendly service – Burntzilla is the perfect place to stop in for a casual bite with friends.
